Bourbon-Infused Strawberries

Large fresh strawberries, washed and dried

Bourbon (Mattingly preference is Jim Beam)

Chocolate, white and dark Syringes (long needle)


Pour bourbon into small bowls. Pull as much bourbon into the syringe as possible and inject near the cap of strawberry so the bourbon fills the cavity of the berry. You will know it’s full when bourbon begins to seep through to the outside of the berry. Place infused strawberries on paper towels to dry. Once they are dry, melt chocolate in microwave and begin dipping. Be sure to use easy melting chocolate; otherwise, you have a huge sweet, sticky, mess on your hands! Place on wax paper for chocolate to harden. Then drizzle the opposite color chocolate over some of the strawberries for funzies! Store in fridge until ready to serve. Prepare twice as many as you think you will need – they go fast!
