We love a parade—and it’s even better when it celebrates the kick-off of the holiday season! The annual Paducah Christmas Parade is a throwback to yesteryear as hundreds of eager onlookers line Broadway between 2nd and 14th Streets to view a tradition nearly as old as the city itself.
Held in the evening, each entry is covered in Christmas lights, illuminating the night with a twinkling glow. This is truly a community event, so you’ll probably see someone you know on a float! Children eagerly collect candy as they wait for the final float carrying the big man himself—Santa! Afterward, he listens to the wish lists of good girls and boys at the gazebo.
The City of Paducah Christmas Parade is on Saturday, December 1 at 5 PM. It begins at 14th and Broadway.
Carson and friends are bundled to brave the wintry winds as they await Santa's sleigh during the Paducah Christmas Parade. Carson's comfy, cozy coat and fur-topped hat are from designer SOIA & KYO, available at McClaran Manner. Friends include Thomas and Teddy Dorsey; McNally, McCall, and Yates Wagner
