Landee’s Guide to Viewing

Landee’s Guide to Viewing

During REIFF, there are three venues utilized for film screening. Being a guru of scheduling would be to your advantage here. Each film is screened 2-3 times in three different venues giving one plenty of options, however you may need to invest in the eye-opening device featured in A Clockwork Orange.

The Market House Studio Theatre, Yeiser Art Center, and Maiden Alley Cinema all showcase the films on a rotating and continuous basis. Films are grouped into 2-hour blocks, so you may find a documentary feature that speaks to you or a group of shorts. The take away here: festival programs are available for public consumption a month prior, so you can read a synopsis and find out what interests you. During any downtime you will find an amazing volunteer in the lobby of Maiden Alley Cinema to answer questions, sell you a t-shirt, or just talk film.
