Then a downtown Advent Walk users in the season with the proper preparation of hearts and minds as Christians await and prepare for the commemoration of the blessed event on Christmas Eve. There's a lighted parade down Paducah'd historic corridor to celebrate the secular side of the Christmas season with the arrival of that jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus. Then there's all that gift giving that necessitates dedicated, downtown shopping so you can wrap up that particular yuletide aspect and tie it with a bow.
