It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . . on the pages of Paducah Life Magazine!
Our holiday edition is out and about with stories and images that will delight and dazzle.
We lead off with Nancy Sutton’s 1949 Chevrolet pickup which is part little truck that could, part family heirloom, part reinvented showstopper, and part vehicle fashionista. Nancy’s reinvented red truck, that she found on the side of a country road nearly 30 years ago, is so much more than an amalgamation of gears and gaskets. It has a payload of memories.
“This truck has been with me through the many seasons of my LIFE (including Christmas),” says Nancy. “We’re just gonna keep on heading down the highway.”
In this edition, Nancy’s vintage vehicle became the symbol of going home for the holidays.
You’ll also read about a gaggle of girls who have been celebrating the holiday since 1966, a bookshop owner who delights in matching up people with prose, a downtown shop owner whose can opener find was an artful inspiration, and a look at a century of style in an historic home on Jefferson Street.
These seasonal stories, and many more, await you inside the holiday edition of PADUCAH LIFE Magazine. Pick one up, grab a cup of hot cider, settle into your favorite chair, and spend some time this holiday with all of us whose most cherished gift is bringing LIFE down your chimney (OR in your mailbox.)
We encourage you to subscribe or give a gift subscription this holiday.
Happy holidays!
